Josiah Duggar Sends Wife Lauren Heartbreaking Mothers Day Message Months After Her Miscarriage

On Mother’s Day, Josiah Duggar took to his platform of choice to show his wife, Lauren Swanson some love! The reality TV star sent her a comforting message about her heartbreaking miscarriage.

As fans know, Lauren lost her and Josiah’s child seven months ago and despite the tragedy, her hubby wanted to sweetly tell her that to him, she is still a mom.

The Instagram post reads: ‘To my dear Lauren… Happy 1st Mother’s Day! I have seen you love, protect, and how much you have given without getting anything in return. I wish our sweet baby could’ve seen just how wonderful a mother you are. Not all mothers arms get to hold their little one, or get to hear their baby’s laughs and cries.’

He went on: ‘You may have missed out on these things since our baby was called home to be with Jesus, but you ARE a mother. I love you Lauren! –Si.’

The couple who tied the knot in June of last year, shared the unfortunate news that they had lost their baby back in February, four months after it had already taken place.

The miscarriage happened only weeks after they learned about being with child so the joy was short lived.

Their heartbreaking message read: ‘Our expectations of setting up a baby room, hearing the heartbeat, feeling the baby’s first kick in mommy’s tummy, holding our little one and getting to see our precious baby were – Shattered. Gone. Right before our eyes. Even though our sweet child is no longer with us, it is such a comfort to know that one day we will get to see our baby in Heaven!’
