KUWK: Scott Disick And Kourtney Kardashian Go On Weekend Trip Together Amid Sofia Richie Split Repor

Just days before his reported split from Sofia Richie, Scott Disick was invited by his ex and mother of his children, Kourtney Kardashian, to Utah, to spend the weekend together and one insider report claims to know the reason why! The former couple also celebrated his birthday together in Los Angeles all the while Sofia did not bother to even wish him a Happy Birthday!

One source tells HollywoodLife that the Memorial Day family trip was the Kardashian’s idea.

They went on to explain that she ‘invited Scott to join her and the kids on their getaway to Amangiri [resort in Canyon Point, Utah] because she knows how happy it makes the kids to have him around. She also feels like it’s one of the most healing places she’s ever been to, so she knew it would be good for Scott.’

The source close to the KarJenners also dished via the same site that Scott has been working ‘on his issues and making a huge effort to get better so that makes it easy for her to have him around. [Kourtney] feels confident that he’s back on the right track and enjoying healthy, positive distractions as he continues to recover.’

As fans know, at the very end of last month, a pic of Scott in a rehab facility was leaked, causing him to check out immediately after even though he hadn’t completed the treatment.

His lawyer released a statement that explained his client had checked in to ‘come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother [in 2013], followed by the death of his father 3 months later.’

But even though sources were saying he would continue getting help in the privacy of his own home, someone just told Page Six that a month after the rehab stint, ‘Scott had gone back to his old ways, and Sofia got fed up.’

As for his birthday party, the first source stressed that the outing was a last minute decision therefore not a planned trip for Scott’s birthday. It was just a happy coincidence!
